Return Policy
BEREZKA STORES SRL
1. General Conditions
Products sold on www.berezka.ro benefit, where applicable, from a validity period, warranty, or service offered by the manufacturer. The warranty does not apply in cases of improper or non-compliant use of the products.
2. Right of Withdrawal
According to the legislation in force (Government Ordinance no. 34/2014 on consumer rights in contracts concluded with professionals), the individual customer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days from receiving the products, without providing a reason.
However, since wine is a food product, returns are only accepted if the bottle is sealed, in its original packaging, undamaged, and accompanied by the relevant transaction documents.
3. Return of Non-Conforming or Defective Products
If, within 48 hours of receiving the product, quality or functionality issues are identified, the customer may request a return. The original packaging must be kept, and the product must be sent back together with the accompanying order documents (invoice, receipt, etc.).
Depending on the situation, Berezka will offer:
- replacement with an identical product (subject to stock availability);
- or full reimbursement of the amount paid.
4. Products Damaged During Transport
All parcels must be opened and checked in the presence of the courier. If product damage during transport is found, the customer has the right to refuse the order.
It is important that damages are recorded in the courier’s report and immediately reported via email at: berezkacurier@gmail.com.
In such cases:
- if payment was made in advance, Berezka will refund the value of the products;
- or resend the order, according to the customer’s choice.
5. Return Procedure
To initiate a return, the customer must notify their intention by email at: berezkacurier@gmail.com, stating:
- the order number,
- the reason for return,
- the product concerned,
- the preferred option (replacement or refund).
After return approval, the product must be sent to the address specified by Berezka, in its original packaging, sealed, and properly protected for transport.
6. Return Costs
6.1. Returns caused by Berezka’s error
If the return is due to:
- an incorrectly delivered product,
- a defective product,
- a product damaged during transport,
- Berezka will fully cover the costs of return and/or reshipment of the correct product.
6.2. Returns initiated by the customer
If the return is initiated solely by the customer’s decision, without the product being defective, and the product meets all legal return conditions (sealed, intact, in original packaging), the return costs will be borne by the customer, according to art. 14 of Government Ordinance 34/2014.
7. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
According to art. 16 of Government Ordinance 34/2014, the following cannot be returned:
- unsealed products that cannot be returned for health protection or hygiene reasons (such as wines or other food products);
- customized products (e.g., gift baskets, packaging with personalized messages);
- products that, by their nature, may deteriorate rapidly.
8. Return Processing Time
Berezka commits to resolving return requests within a maximum of 14 calendar days from receiving the returned product.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used by the customer, unless otherwise agreed.
9. Limitation of Liability
Berezka cannot be held liable for:
- product damage caused by the customer,
- improper use of products,
- delivery delays caused by courier companies.
10. Return Refusal
We reserve the right to refuse returns of products that:
- have been unsealed or damaged after delivery,
- are not in their original packaging,
- are not accompanied by fiscal documents,
- do not comply with the legal conditions mentioned in this policy.
In such cases, the product will be sent back to the customer, and the transport costs will be borne by them.
